This page is used to download a key for MMPlayer Base 2.0 for PalmOS.

Step 1: Purchase MMPlayer through PayPal/Handango/Palmgear/etc. See the buy page if you haven't done this yet.

Step 2: Enter your email address in the email field below. The email address must be the same one you used when purchasing MMPlayer.

Step 3: Enter your Hotsync ID in the form below. The Hotsync ID can be found either in the top right corner of the Hotsync application (on your Palm), or via the Help->Register menu in MMPlayer. (Note that sometimes, it's not possible to get to the menu by tapping at the top of the screen. In that case, use the menu symbol in the grafitti area (or menu button if you have a keyboard), to bring up the menu.)

Step 4: Press the "Get key" button and a file named "MMPlayerKey.pdb" will then appear for download in your browser. Copy this file to your Palm using Hotsync to unlock MMPlayer. (If you have problems downloading the MMPlayerKey.pdb file, try another browser. It can also be SP2 (Windows XP Service Pack 2) that is prohibiting some file types to be downloaded. In that case, please observe the top of the browser when clicking the Get Key button. It should contain an option to continue with the download.

You can reuse this form at any time to regenerate your key in case you lose it. However, if you change your Hotsync ID, you will need a new key and in this case you need to contact support@mmplayer.com for help.

An unregistered copy of MMPlayer will display a text asking you to register after about 1 minute of playing a file. It will also start to decrease the volume (and contrast if playing video).
